Making the leap from a digital compact camera to a digital SLR or system compact camera can be a little intimidating at first - it’s not surprising as there’s a lot to take in. However, once you’re up and running, the sky’s the limit! You’ll have complete freedom to take pictures exactly how you want them to look, with the flexibility to be as creative as you like.
If you’re a little daunted by what to do to get started, we’re here to help. We’ve created a 30 minute Showhow specifically for new owners of DSLR and compact system cameras. We cover everything you need to know to make the most of your new camera and help take your photography to the next level. We'll give you a demonstration of the main settings and the mode dial, provide you with some photograph composition tips and tricks including photo taking practice. We’ll also answer any questions you may have along the way and provide you with access to our online guides in case you need a recap.
