Need some help with your Repair & Support Plans? Check below for some handy hints, tips & advice.
You can add a Repair & Support Plan to a product you've purchased from Currys PC World from within the My Plans tab.
If a product isn't already protected by a Repair & Support Plan, you'll see an Add a plan button. Click this to see the options available.
Next, choose the length of cover you need, then select a suitable payment method. Once you're happy with your selection, click Continue.
The next page will show you your purchase summary, terms & conditions and key exclusions. When you're happy, click Pay now to be taken to the payment page.
Enter your card or bank details, then press Submit - you should then see a confirmation to let you know it's all gone through properly.
You can then click Back to my plans to see your newly added Repair & Support Plan.
You can renew your Repair & Support Plan 60 days before its expiry date and for up to 60 days after. To do so, visit the My Plans tab. If you have a plan that's eligible, you should see a Renew now button. Click it to see the available options.
Choose the length of cover you need and then select a suitable payment method. Once you're happy with your selection, click Continue.
The next page will show you your purchase summary, terms & conditions and key exclusions. When you're happy, click Pay now to be taken to the payment page.
Enter your card or bank details, press Submit and wait for the confirmation to let you know it's all gone through properly.
You can then click Back to my plans to see your renewed Repair & Support Plan.
You can change your address, email and phone number from within the My details tab. Make sure you remember to confirm any changes by entering your password at the bottom of the form before clicking Submit.
You can change your password from the My details tab.
From there, click the Change my password link. In the box that appears, enter your current password to confirm your identity, then provide your new password twice. Finally, click Confirm.
For security reasons, you can only change or update your bank details by phoning us on 0344 561 1234. Once your details have been changed, we'll send you confirmation through the post.
If it was a recent purchase, it can take up to 24 hours for products purchased from Currys PC World to show in your online account.
Your products will only be listed if they:
Are currently protected with a Repair & Support Plan
Are not more than 12 months out of the manufacturer's guarantee period
Were previously protected by a Repair & Support Plan that has expired within the last 90 days
Another reason why your product might not be showing is because the details taken at time of purchase are different from the details you registered with. In some cases, you may need to register separately for a different product. This can happen if we have more than one address on record for you, or if your name is recorded slightly differently, i.e. J Smith rather than John Smith. If this is the case, you can register another account using the receipt details for your purchased product – or just call us on 0344 561 1234 and we'll get it sorted.
